Shane and Emily met through mutual friends years ago. After deciding she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, he proposed one night on a walk along the lakefront. I asked each of them what their favorite thing about the other was and this is how they answered.

Emily said, "Shane can always make me laugh, no matter what mood I'm in. He always knows how to put a smile on my face."

Shane replied, "I would say how we have the same sense of humor and always laugh together about everything!"

The morning of their wedding day, Shane said he tossed and turned all night. Not because he was scared to marry Emily, but because he wanted her to have the most perfect day of her life. These two are adorable together and so much fun to be around. It's clear to see why they initially fell in love and have such a great relationship.

Besides the rain that came unexpectedly, their wedding day went off without a hitch! After the ceremony, we took portraits at the seminary when this thick fog came out of nowhere. It made for beautiful photos! It started raining as soon as we finished, so they decided to wait it out at their favorite bar on the Eastside before heading to the reception. This wedding party really knew how to party and they were a blast to work with. My face hurt from laughing so much!

Here are a few captures from their big day!
